Professor Lennart Lagerstrom
Unit for Special Dental Care, Halmstad Regional Hospital, Halmstad, Sweden.

Professor Lennart Lagerstrom received his Dental Degree from the Royal School of Dentistry, Stockholm, Sweden in 1961 and his certificate in Orthodontics and the Master of Science Degree from the University of Illinois, U.S.A. in 1966. He received his Swedish Speciality Board in Orthodontics in 1968 and had a private practice in Orthodontics in Stockholm 1968-75 during the time he also was a lecturer in the Postgraduate Program at the Eastman Institute in Stockholm.

He was the Director of the Public Orthodontic Clinic, Halmstad, Sweden from 1975 to 1995 where he also had a part time private practic and during the period 1988-1990 part-time he was also Senior Lecturer in Orthodontics at the Dental Faculty, University of Lund, Sweden.
From 1995 to 2002 Lennart Lagerstrom was Professor of Orthodontics and Director of the postgraduate program in Orthodontics, School of Dental Sciences, Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland.
During 2003-2006 he was the Orthodontic Postgraduate Director, Faculty of Odontology, Karolinska Institute, Stockholm, Sweden.
At present Lennart Lagerstrom is a part-time Consultant at the Unit for Special Dental Care, Halmstad Regional Hospital, Halmstad, Sweden.
Professor Lennart Lagerstrom is a member of the Angle Society of Europe and has been its President from1991 to1993. He is a certified member of the European Board of Orthodontics and has been examiner of the Board 1997 - 1999.
He has lectured in many of the European countries as well as in the US and Asia and has been a speaker at International Conferences. He has 24 scientific and clinical publications in International Journals.
